About Parnell Boucha
RYT-200
An old knee injury from a lifetime of sports led me to try yoga. Within a few short months, full range of motion returned to that knee with no more pain. Two decades later I am still learning something new every time I step on my mat. After 24 years of studying the science of yoga, and 16 years of teaching it, I realize the importance of passing on what has been given to me. Words fail to convey the total value of yoga; it has to be experienced. With roots in Hatha Yoga, there are several yoga styles which serve one’s wants, needs, body type or health concerns. I am offering yoga sessions for Starting Yogis, Vinyasas, Power Yoga, Aging Healthy Yoga, Chair Yoga, Restorative and Yin Yogas. There is something for every body.

Parnell’s Yoga Classes
RESTORATIVE
Restorative yoga is for everyone, young or old, whether you are training for a marathon, doing weight training or sitting all day. Poses are based on floor postures to stretch, open and release the major muscle groups of the entire body. It improves recovery, mobility, and sleeping, while reducing aches and pains.
Mon. 11:30 – 12:30pm, Wed. 7 – 8pm, Thurs. 9:30 – 10:30am, Sun. 9 – 10 am with Yin
YIN
Yin yoga is a gentle and relaxing all-level class that works deeply into the connective tissues and joints of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine and is suitable to all levels of students through extended holds of postures. A great class for beginners or advanced students looking for a restful class that works on restoring flexibility and/or working deeply into joints and tissues that are “locked up” from past injuries or from repetitive motion.
Wednesdays 9 – 10am, Thursday 6:30 – 7:30pm, Friday 10:45 – 11:45am
VINYASA
These classes will range from a slow flow, with time to explore individual postures and transitions. Slow flow builds confidence and familiarity while working with fluid movement and breath. To a stronger vinyasa flow class with higher intensity and a quick pace, in which a series of poses follow the rhythm and power of the breath.
