What is a Health Coach?

A health coach is a supportive mentor and wellness authority who works with clients to help them feel their best through food and lifestyle changes. Instead of prescribing one diet or way of exercising, health coaches tailor individualized wellness programs to meet their client’s needs.

What Makes a Health Coach Unique?

Health is more than just the condition of your physical body. Relationships, exercise, career, and spirituality are just as important to your health as the food you eat. Health Coaches understand this and take a holistic approach to supporting the whole person.

Who is Your Typical Client?

Most of my clients are women with autoimmune diagnoses, but I also work with men, teens, and small groups that want to make lifestyle changes and find balance in their lives. What I’ve learned along the way is that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to the desire to lead a healthier, happier life.

What Health Challenges Do You Work With?

Clients have worked with me to improve their digestive disorders, weight loss, acne, stress, autoimmune symptoms, stress levels and cognitive dysfunction such as brain fog. Most of the time clients come to me with one issue and end up resolving more.

Do You Prescribe a Certain Diet or Exercise?

I believe in and teach the concept of bio-individuality. There is not one “diet” that works for everyone all the time. Each person is unique, and through my coaching protocol, I work to help my clients explore the best options for them based on personal tastes, culture, food sensitivities, deficiencies, and lifestyle requirements.

How Long Do You Work with Clients For?

My program is 6 months long, but I have had repeat clients come back for a new issue (s) and work with me two or three times. One of the main goals is learning how to change habits so that they can continue making progress and maintain healthy choices after we are done working together.
